Golf at Crowbush Cove
4 to 7 hours
The Links at Crowbush Cove opened in 1994 and are often mentioned in the same breath as some of Canada's greatest golf courses. Nestled up against Prince Edward Island's north shore, the course is a dramatic mixture of tough holes and scenic pleasures. The Links at Crowbush Cove were selected as the site of the 1997 Canadian Amateur Golf Championship by the Royal Canadian Golf Association and the 1998 Skins Game was held here. The 11th hole is a long par 5 with a view miles down the coast in each direction. Architect Tom McBroom has put together hole after hole in this genre. Long, natural grasses border most of the fairways and water obstacles are prevalent. Mounding and strategic bunkering also adds to the makeup of Crowbush and makes it a complete golf course in every sense of the word. In 1994, The Links at Crowbush Cove were ranked Canada's best new course by Golf Digest. Anyone who plays here will know the honours are well deserved.
